Plus, now is a pretty good time to reassess your content strategies and identify new opportunities or trends to try out. Each of these trends represents content challenges to embrace to not only captivate your audience but also to drive better results for your business.

  1. Short-form video reigns in engagement.

Short-form video continues to take social media by storm. Virtually all social media platforms have some version of it. One of the reasons TikTok continues to grow is because of its short-form video format (FYI – it’s crossed 1 billion active users). 

According to Hubspot, short-form video has a great ROI and hence is preferred.

Influencer ties up are extremely common on social media. It ties in very closely with short-form video content, since that’s the go-to format for many influencers. Leveraging influencers’ authority can enhance product recommendations, leading to increased conversions and sales. Furthermore, influencers greatly help in content creation, making it a win-win scenario. All of this helps brands create authentic connections with customers and eventually leads to a long-term goal of building long-term relationships.

  1. SEO needs to be more strategic 

Content and SEO always continue to revolve around each other. SEO has evolved to a point where it is about strategic depth. Simple steps such as keyword optimisation is simply not enough. Rather, your SEO plan needs to have depth in terms of the number of SEO tactics you implement and the timeframe you are looking at. 

Keyword research, content optimisation, on-page SEO, and link-building efforts need to be implemented in combination with each other. Furthermore, your SEO strategy is planned 3 months in advance and you are looking at the results not being delivered in a month, but 4 months later. 

And, of course, you regularly monitor and analyse the performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to make data-driven adjustments and improve rankings over time.
