What It’s like being a part of this vibrant organisation called Spacebar? Working here is one of the very few reasons that compel you to get out of your house and happily step in the office space. Working in Spacebar in itself is a different kind of a stressbuster. Sounds impractical, but it’s true! When you step in here, you see lovely faces with warm smiles ready to welcome you. That is the first thing anyone would want to see to get away with their Monday Blues or Midweek Boredom. The vibrant environment has a tinge of professionalism and freedom at the same time.
Yes, here at Spacebar, we don’t have stringent rules, we don’t have specific workstations. Every morning, the employees decide their work seat for that day. When we switch on our laptops, we don’t feel tired on account of the huge list of tasks for the day only because we get into a light chitchat session before we begin our work. Our morning energy drinks (tea or coffee) along with a small, happy debate, mild argument or any discussion that let us start our day on a perfect note. Unlike most other organisations, here, we talk about anything and everything. We can spend hours discussing everything, right from the haunted experiences of each worker at Spacebar to sharing critical thoughts about movies and TV shows. All these, along with unlimited milk powder, coffee and sugar, are our stressbusters. These light things keep us going, these discussions keep us refreshed.

At Spacebar, we have a simple hierarchy. On the topmost level is the founder and chief solutionist, Alpana Mandal who is super cool. Then, there are editors who have their teams of content writers. They are extremely approachable and are always ready to help their writers. They are motivating that helps them to overcome all the challenges. Most of the times, the editors and the writers unitedly work on projects that ensure quality work is delivered to our clients. Working in Spacebar means the employees are exposed to various styles of writing. We have clients from various strata and parts of the world. We write content for home trade businesses to dental clinics, from landscaping to the technical stuff. Depending on the essences of our clients’ businesses, we switch our style of writing. We have now become so flexible that we can follow the Chicago style of writing and also British English and still enjoy doing that. Along with understanding the needs of our clients, we also understand the target audience they cater to and accordingly strive to craft valuable and unique content. And, all this is possible solely because of the well-defined training and constant support from the colleagues that all the newbies get in their initial days.

So basically, working in Spacebar is a chill-thing. With less stringent rules and more open communication, people here feel like a family and not employees working in a strict 9-5 environment. We all enjoy working here for many many reasons. Though there are some people who work till late in the evening, they still don’t find it too hectic, unless they have strict deadlines to meet. We also go out for parties and celebrations to some of the happening places in the city. We eat and drink and giggle like the bosses. We exactly know how to make the most of every moment. And we have learned to maintain the balance between craziness and seriousness, and fun and work.
Spacebar is just one of those very places which don’t have uncompromising timings, nudgy boss, bitchy co-workers, lethargic environment, and insufficient stationery. Our sharp-witted boss and sweet HR take care of everything so that employees love working here!
