About 64% of Indian marketers state that content marketing is really essential for increasing a brand’s awareness, and 53% say that it helps in attracting and retaining customers. But first, let’s take a look at the evolution of B2B content marketing to better understand what has actually changed over the years:

We all have heard this phrase. Some people may agree to this while some may not. But the reason I’ve mentioned this phrase here is because content marketing is really old. Not many of us are aware of this. But it really is old. I’m sure you still cannot make the connection yet. It was in the year 1895, when magazines were introduced and published in the market. Magazine content consisted of images and useful information about the different products and services.

Of course, today if you ask people what according to them is content marketing, you will get a straightforward answer, ‘online marketing’. It’s not incorrect, but it’s not completely true. Content marketing can be done online and offline both. Without content in today’s world, nothing would come by easy! I’m sure you can make the connection now.

Omnipresent B2B Tactic:

Believe it or not, content is everywhere and it’s the backbone of Google as well. Content is nothing but information. As the world already has changed, your business marketing tactics must transform as well. If you stick to the traditional marketing methods, your business won’t gain enough traction and attention.

Content marketing helps customers and other businesses spread relevant information through online content.

In the olden days, content marketing was not so popular due to various reasons. However, today, the tables have turned because of technology and Google, of course! Content marketing has made the world virtually a smaller place.

Yes, this is the beginning of a new world. A world that is driven with technological advancements and held close together with the help of content marketing. People and businesses have started to know and work with each other without actually being in the same company or country.
