Blogging allows your business to frequently generate content, attract traffic, build brand value and eventually increase sales. So, pick up your pen or grab a laptop &#8211; you are going to learn how to write great blog content. <\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Topics! <\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sure, good content writing is all about technique, style and the information &#8211; but probably &#8211; the most important factor is the blog topic. For SEO purposes, you need to choose topics that are being searched for. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, at the same time, you need to pick a topic that brings out quality. What am I talking about? Here\u2019s an example if you were operating an SEO business: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make an SEO strategy <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Realign your SEO strategy with your new business strategy <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMake an SEO strategy\u201d is an okay topic. The internet is filled with such similar content, you won\u2019t be offering unique information. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the other hand, \u201cRealign your SEO strategy with your new business strategy\u201d is unique and specific. It\u2019s not a very popular topic online and the information you offer is unique. More importantly, such a topic would allow an SEO professional to really showcase her expert knowledge. <\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Style <\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Writing is all about style. Style holds the attention of your reader. No one is asking you to write like Shakespeare who captures the hearts reader, or make them laugh out like Tina Fey. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Style adds a captivating factor to your content. Within this article itself, my style is: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am having a conversation with the reader\/you<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019m asking questions <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of my sentences add drama to the content <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The only way to find your style is to write. And when you do so, ask yourself &#8211; \u201cAm I communicating in an interesting manner?\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Information <\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information makes up the crux of your blog content. However, you can just put the information in a plain manner. If you do so &#8211; it will read like a textbook. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is why writing style is so important. It adds flavour to your B2B content marketing. You write great content after 2 to 3 drafts because that\u2019s what it takes. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Review <\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A review essentially focuses on improving the quality of the article: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does every sentence communicate important information or are there fillers? A filler sentence is a line which does not communicate valuable information. If you find a filler sentence, cut it out. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is the information communicated in an easy-to-read or a confusing manner? If a sentence is difficult to understand, change it. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does the blog content flow well? For example, this article starts with topics, style, information and review and edit. If I were to shuffle these sections, it would make for a very confusing read. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Edit<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The edit focuses on grammar issues. No wants to read an article with poor grammar. Spelling mistakes, missing words, wrong sentence structuring &#8211; find grammar problems in your article and fix them. Additionally, running your blog content through <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/grammarly.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grammarly <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">also helps. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your first draft is going to be okay. It\u2019s the review and edit that makes your content great. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Writing is not easy. However, the more you keep at it, the better your skill will increase.
